The Jović family's story with lemons began in 1982, when the first Meyer lemon trees were planted in the fertile soil of Župa Dubrovačka. What started as a personal passion quickly grew into something extraordinary — a living garden that now shelters over 300 citrus trees.
Our gardens are more than an orchard. They're a place where nature, family, and tradition come together. Every tree is tended by hand, every fruit grown without chemicals, and every visitor welcomed as a friend.
Walking through the groves, you'll find varieties rarely seen in Croatia — yuzu, Siberian lemon, wild fig, and mandarin grow alongside the classic Meyer lemon that started it all. Each tree has its own character, its own story.

our story
Meet the Family
At the heart of Jović Lemon Gardens is Ivo, a passionate gardener who inherited his love for citrus from his parents. Together with his family, he tends the groves daily — pruning, watering, harvesting, and welcoming guests with open arms.
When you visit, you won't meet a tour guide. You'll meet a family who genuinely loves what they do and can't wait to share it with you. From the stories behind each tree to the recipes behind each product, everything here is personal.
